Appraisal Institute Education

Seminar Developers Wanted

The Appraisal Institute is seeking practical, interactive, cutting edge, one-day (7-hour) seminars that offer appraisers diversification opportunities.

Our seminars always include
  • Well-written student manual (no more than 100 pages)
  • Specific instructor notes
  • Clear visual aids
The Appraisal Institute presents one-day seminars in multiple locations. Thus, we are requesting submission of one-day seminars that ideally can be taught by multiple instructors. We do not encourage submission of seminars that can only be taught by the developer.

If you have developed a well-organized, one-day seminar on a timely topic that can be taught by other qualified instructors, please complete and return a Seminar Submission Form. Please include your seminar materials and resume. If your seminar has been presented before, please include copies of program evaluations.

We also welcome the submission of seminar proposals for the development of seminars that can be taught by multiple qualified instructors. If you are interested in submitting a seminar proposal, please complete and return a Seminar Proposal Submission Form. Include a seminar outline that is up to 10 pages and your resume.

Developers often request guidance on what seminars should include. Please consult the Seminar Components Checklist and Formatting Guidelines to assist you with this.

If you have questions, please contact Seminar Development Manager Fran Rosenstein at 312-335-4228 or e-mail frosenstein@appraisalinstitute.org.

We are also looking for online seminar developers as well as Appraisal Institute members who are interested in serving as paid content reviewers for new online education programs. In addition to a review fee, reviewers also receive a waived tuition fee, and Appraisal Institute and state credit if possible for the program. Please contact Ray Martinez at rmartinez@appraisalinstitute.org for more information.
